A few simple principles
Community Guidelines
The Hag works best when people treat one another with kindness, patience and a little common sense.
Be kind
Behind every question is a real person. Treat others with the same courtesy and respect that you would expect yourself.
Help if you can
You don't have to know everything. If you have useful experience, practical advice or a different way of solving a problem, share it. That's what makes a community.
Keep it honest
Share what you genuinely know. If you're guessing, say so. It's perfectly fine not to have all the answers.
Respect different opinions
People won't always agree, and that's perfectly normal. Discuss ideas, not people. A friendly disagreement is far more useful than an argument.
Keep conversations appropriate
Don't post abusive, threatening, discriminatory, illegal or deliberately offensive material. The Hag is intended to be welcoming to everyone.
No spam
Please don't use The Hag to advertise products, promote services or post repetitive content. The focus should always remain on helping one another.
Remember why we're here
The Hag was created to be a quieter corner of the internet where people can ask questions, share knowledge and enjoy conversation without all the noise found elsewhere.
Help us keep it that way.
Thank you for being part of The Hag.
